A little bit of fun with composition

You might know composition as writing stories. In music, however, compositions are the songs. Don't be overwhelmed by not knowing where to start. Chrome Music Lab is easy and fun for all ages. All you need is internet access and the ability to click a mouse!

I made a song in the first tile, "Song Maker," that you can find the link for below. It was just a matter of clicking the mouse in different places so it is easily played from young children through adults. It was so fun to play around with. Listen to what I made in 3 minutes of clicking.

As you click through other musical experiments you will find some work better than others. Song Maker is the only one you can record to listen to at another time. Give it a try and send me your composition. After you create your song, save it, then copy and send me the link. Have fun making music!
